tools/local-gateway-api-server.cjs, http://127.0.0.1:8817) that directly invokes the real, unmodified composer-siw-handoff-proof and genesis-model-gateway source — a real local service call, not a browser-side reimplementation. The browser never calls a model provider directly (not Ollama, not Anthropic, not OpenAI) — only this local Gateway server, which performs the provider dispatch itself. Genesis Local (Ollama, on this machine) is the default provider — no external account, no credential, no cost. External providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) require a credential set in this Gateway server's own environment before they can be selected; Gemini is not yet implemented. A resulting proposal is not adopted here; adoption/successor-Candidate creation is the separate Candidate Revision Review flow above.
