Inquiry
A bounded human-initiated exploration whose prompt, context, branches, findings and state can remain inspectable. Human initiation or direction does not itself establish authorization, standing, or permission for consequential action.

Genesis AiX Lexicon
One public vocabulary for the website and future review packets. Definitions are explanatory; governing specifications and accepted records control if explanatory copy conflicts.
Lineage
The recorded origin, relationship and evolution path of a governed object. Lineage does not by itself establish runtime dependency, ownership or authority transfer.
Evidence
Inspectable support for a bounded claim or state determination. Evidence can participate in establishing standing when fresh, authoritative and scope-matched; a prior evidence record is not automatically current authority.
Standing
Present authority or eligibility to rely, act or progress under current conditions.
Admissibility
The determination that a proposed transition satisfies the declared conditions required to proceed within a specified scope and at the relevant time.
Bind-time
The protected point at which an approved exact state is committed to an intended executor/recipient and declared material conditions are revalidated before the governed transition proceeds.
Binding
An explicit commitment of an approved exact state to an intended recipient or executor and its declared decision-relevant conditions.
Exact consequence
A proposed protected effect identified by a finite, declared set of decision-relevant attributes — such as actor, parameters, target, route, executor, state and validity — appropriate to that consequence class.
Material substitution
A change to a declared decision-relevant attribute that invalidates the standing or decision relied upon for the proposed consequence.
Executor binding
Binding that identifies the intended executor/recipient rather than treating approval as a free-floating permission. Whether the executor’s ability is bind-derived or ambient is a separate implementation property that must be evidenced.
Route closure
A deployment obligation requiring materially equivalent consequence-producing routes to be inventoried and constrained, with residual paths disclosed. Refusal on one governed route does not itself prove global route closure.
Authorization replay
Using historical approval or evidence of authority as though it were present standing after material conditions, scope, identity, consent or state may have changed.
Revalidation
A fresh check that decision-relevant authority and conditions still hold before a protected bind or transition proceeds.
Consequence
A protected material transition or external effect beyond non-consequential inquiry and inspection.
Irreversibility horizon
The point in a consequence class after which refusal or revalidation can no longer prevent or undo the external effect. Proof profiles should state where this horizon sits.
Composition without absorption
Systems may exchange bounded evidence, claims or representations without silently transferring architectural identity, authority, standing, lineage, ownership or implementation control.
Capability
On this site, capability means practical ability to generate, reason, access a tool or perform an operation; it is not used as a synonym for authority. This usage is distinct from object-capability security terminology.
