Repository-facing reading surface

Documents should be discoverable without losing their status.

The website Library is the human reading and navigation surface. Access, authority, version, lineage, and permission to rely remain separate questions.

Open

Public explanation, approved papers, proof surfaces, selected media and architecture material.

Registered

Deeper reading and downloadable review material after minimal name + email registration.

Controlled

Private, review-only, NDA/confidential, or otherwise authorization-bound material. Registration alone never unlocks it.

Registration is not authorization.

A visitor can register for deeper public material without acquiring standing to access controlled artifacts. Access classification remains an independent property of the object.

Build 09 access prototype

Test the three access states without pretending a production identity service exists.

This static build stores registered-preview information only in the current browser. Registered documents now open in a Genesis reader with a persistent Return to Library control. No server account, CRM, email automation, or remote contact database is connected.

Metadata grammar

The document is more than its filename.

Every public record should make enough metadata visible to distinguish current, superseded, historical, future, draft, registered, and controlled material.

Identity

Title, identifier, document type, version, date, authority / owner.

Standing

Status, access classification, current / superseded / historical / future classification, release relevance.

Relationships

Related specifications, prior versions, lineage, evidence, implementation, repository source.

From repository to Knowledge Fabric

A document should retain identity when the reader changes representation.

The Genesis Knowledge Fabric™ roadmap connects the Library to Canon objects, lineage, evidence, lifecycle and future reader-depth navigation.
